The Sardinian Roots DMS

The DMS (Destination Management System) is a digital platform, already used by other Italian and international destinations, which is an operational marketing tool for the promotion and marketing of tourism offerings.

Our actions are divided into six strategic areas: governance, communication, cultural enhancement, participation, digital innovation and training. Each activity is built in close collaboration with territories and operators, thanks to cloud platforms, participatory meetings and accessible digital content. From schools to museums, local stakeholders to the diaspora, each component of the project contributes to building a more open, connected and welcoming Sardinia.

Involvement of the territory

The beating heart of the project is the dialogue with the territories. Each activity takes shape through a process of listening and co-design involving local communities, cultural and tourism operators, schools, administrations and associations. Public meetings, participatory workshops, collaborative digital platforms and accessible content become the tools to enhance local specificities and strengthen ties with the diaspora. Widespread involvement is the key to building a Sardinia that is more open, aware and connected to its roots.
